Litigation Group Wins in Breach of Fiduciary Duty Claim

In another victory for Nisen & Elliott's Litigation Group, John J. D’Attomo won a $1.9 million judgment in September 2023 following trial in the Circuit Court of Cook County in a case involving claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty against the former CEO of a manufacturing client. The Court rejected the CEO’s claim that the misappropriated funds were merely a "shareholder loan."
